Amsterdam, February 13 – The Sharing Group, the company behind shared economy businesses such as Mijndomein, MyWheels, and Hegg Energy, is transferring its in-house software developer Weave to Enrise. Since 2021, Weave has been part of the group, focusing entirely on software development for its sister companies. Enrise and Weave complement each other with their shared focus on impact-driven software development, giving Weave the opportunity to take the next step in its growth. With this move, Enrise is opening its third office - alongside Amersfoort and Zwolle - in Rotterdam.
Weave was founded in 2016 and focuses on cloud-native software development. In March 2021, the company was acquired by The Sharing Group. The group includes various tech companies in the field of Online, Energy and Mobility such as Mijndomein, MyWheels and Hegg Energy. With Weave as part of the collective, Enrise will be the preferred supplier for The Sharing Group.
Henri de Jong, CEO of The Sharing Group, says: “We look back positively on the successful collaboration between The Sharing Group and Weave. Now that The Sharing Group is taking shape and the technological platforms are more independent, it is important for Weave to enter a new growth phase. Weave and Enrise meet in their shared focus on impact-driven development of software solutions and the goal to ensure positive change in society. Amersfoort-based Enrise was founded in 2000 and is one of the largest independent digital agencies in the Netherlands. The agency works for Odido, DPG Media and Figo, among others.
