Amsterdam, 8 februari 2022 - The Sharing Group (TSG) announces partnership with Greencast. Greencast is a start-up that enables companies to monitor their CO2 footprint at relatively low costs and hassle free. An important step forward to help companies cut their CO2 emissions.
The Sharing Group is a collective of people and brands that believe in the power of sharing and working together to make more impact. The investment in the partnership with start-up Greencast fits well with this ambition. Joost van Rooij, Head of Ventures, about Greencast; “The enthusiasm of the founder Konstantinos and the smart solution of Greencast to open up a complex issue in an accessible way really spoke to us.”. In the upcoming period, the solution will be rolled out with one of the partners of The Sharing Group.
Founder Konstantino Kouzel of Greencast hopes that the recently introduced ‘free plan’ reduces the barrier for smaller companies to start monitoring their CO2 footprint. “We, as a start-up, understand that budgets for monitoring sustainability are tight and that growing companies have many other concerns on their mind. Greencast offers a hassle free solution to start monitoring your CO2 footprint without expensive consultants or endless questionnaires. That is how we, companies big and small, are able to make a sustainable difference together.”.
The Sharing Group is working on setting up an investment fund for New Ventures. The fund will be aimed at impact driven start-ups with a focus on Technology, Energy and Mobility. “We are looking for start-ups with a fresh perspective on existing markets. Entrepreneurs that believe it is possible to make a change, developing innovative solutions that are available for the happy mass instead of the happy few”, says Joost van Rooij.
