SolarEdge Expands Ecosystem with Dynamic Energy Contract in Partnership with EnergyZero

SolarEdge Energy powered by EnergyZero helps households get more out of solar panels and home batteries

Vianen, 22 April 2026 – SolarEdge is expanding its ecosystem with a dynamic energy contract in collaboration with EnergyZero: SolarEdge Energy powered by EnergyZero. SolarEdge enables the integration between its technology and EnergyZero’s energy services. Energy supplier EnergyZero contracts directly with the end customer and is responsible for energy supply and customer service. With this partnership, SolarEdge further expands its ecosystem of smart hardware and software with future oriented energy services.

SolarEdge Energy

With SolarEdge Energy, households benefit from smart energy management for dynamic energy  tariffs that move with the market, which—when combined with solar panels and a home battery—can deliver immediate financial advantages. SolarEdge users can already switch today and will be fully prepared for the moment they add a home battery.

With a SolarEdge home battery, the benefits increase even further: energy can be stored when prices are low and used or fed back to the grid when prices are high. An additional benefit is the government VAT refund currently available on the purchase of a home battery when a dynamic energy contract is active at the same address.

Smart technology and future-ready control

The collaboration goes beyond dynamic pricing alone. EnergyZero’s further enables a quick and smart response to feedin moments. At a later stage direct control of home batteries is expected to be introduced. This will enable households to automatically optimize the value of their energy generation and storage and take advantage of opportunities across multiple energy markets.

All relevant data and insights remain available in the familiar mySolarEdge app, ensuring users always retain full visibility and control over their energy flows.

Niels Kleer, Regional Manager BENELUX at SolarEdge:

“For solar system owners who are wondering what the smart choice is for the future, certainty is essential. SolarEdge has been active in the Netherlands for over twelve years, and hundreds of thousands of households generate solar energy daily using our products. With SolarEdge Energy, we connect our users to a dynamic energy contract that coupled with our technology — ensures they continue to benefit from their solar energy, especially as net metering is phased out and home batteries become increasingly relevant.”

Hans Valk, CEO of EnergyZero:

“We are proud that SolarEdge has chosen us as its energy partner for this proposition. With our platform and direct access to the energy markets, we enable SolarEdge customers to get the maximum value from their systems. The combination of their smart equipment and our dynamic services is exactly what households need.”
